Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Winter Blunderland

So forecasts today called for 5 millimeters of rain and slight flurries.  It started snowing at noon, and just stopped now at 8PM or so, dumping about 6 or 7 inches of snow in a few hours.  There were no salt or plows out, so come rush hour it was udder hell.  This is the first big snow fall of the year, and a lot of people aren't wearing winter tires.  Between 4 and 6 there were reports of more than 2 dozen accidents on major routes.  I tried to leave work at 4PM, and made it one city block in an hour, before giving up and turning around to work.  Traffic is STILL bad, but it's moving.  Just checking my mail after spending a couple hours at a bar, waiting for things to clear up.  I'll update and tell how long it takes to get home.  In free flowing traffic, it takes 15 minutes...

Also just a quick word that the Chevette and Pinto were submitted as prints for mugs, magnets and post cards.  And a bunch of other updates were made to current prints.

I also set up an account at CafePress just to test the waters.  It may be a conflict of interest, but I'm only going to submit things DA doesn't offer (and they also offer higher profit margins).  It's definetly lacking in some major areas though in the base account, most notably only allowing one image per item.
