(Sung to the tune of "The Simpsons)
I'm just reporting in as I'm in the midst of the remains of Hurricane Noel right now. Well - I think it's just a tropical storm now. It's supposed to peak at 7pm I think (1.5 hours). Still have power and internet though! Let's hope it stays for a while.
An update on the Moby painting - it sold for $175 at the SPCA auction. Which isn't fantastic, but it's opened a door in that a local vet gift shop wants to sell paintings of mine, so that's cool. However I have none stock piled, so I have to do one. I have one on the go however so I don't know when that will be. Work is also very busy and stressful, so I don't feel much like painting when I get home from work...
Speaking of the painting, apparently it appeared in a local paper (of sorts) today in regards to the auction. I have to find a copy. It's basically a small entertainment section thingy that goes out free with flyers, so you can't buy it. I haven't received one so I'm trying to track down a friend that hasn't thrown it out. It's nice though to see that someone though it was nice enough to put in a paper though. I'll scan and post it when/if I get a copy.
