So a friend forwarded me a new "leaked" NIN song. Apparently stuff is coming out from a new album of sorts on the internet, but it's highly conceptual. It's found in the form of websites apparently that talk of nuclear fallout in the future and a hallucinogenic drug that causes it's users to see imagery of a hand reaching down from the sky, which itself draws back to songs from "The Fragile". I don't know much about it - I have to read more into it.
Anyway, a friend sent me an mp3, which can be found here:
[link]If you open up the file in an audio editing program (I used Audition), change over the view to Spectral Frequency Display. Look at the end of the file, and you'll see what looks like a hand reaching down. Pretty cool!
