Please critique and comment on my work, and leave hints and suggestions!  I'm just getting into photography and have much to learn.

I'm trying to release prints of the photos as I go, for those interested.  I may try my hand at a calender, if they're up to snuff.  Unfortunately most of them are portrait so they don't quite fit the layout.

PS: Where did the "Neighbour/Deviants Near You" feature go?  I can't find it, or even info about it.  I recently moved, so I'd like to know if there's anyone else in my relatively sparsely populated area....

Yeah, where did that neighbours feature go...
I remember back in the day, it had distances between deviants. They then removed the distances (because it's too easy to triangulate :)). Looks like they've ditched it altogether now :(

I think your photos look pretty nice. Maybe check out the tutorials on :iconjjuuhhaa:'s website for some post editing tips.

I found them to be helpful. Also, I just experiment in Photoshop, which I found to yield interesting results from time to time.

Thanks! I usually prefer things as the camera took them. Probably because I do photo editing on a daily basis at work, I like having the look achieved without processing. Not because I'm lazy - because I find it more challenging.

You're welcome. I can understand that.

No. I should get used to it though - my pictures of course aren't always perfect. I think I also have a slight fear of making them worse...

I think even after I edit my pictures that their not perfect. I always doubt my ability to make images look good. But best of luck to you with your photography ventures.

A bit of post processing will go a long way - try doing some vintage style processing to fit the cars you seem to shoot.
