It's more of a superfast touring car than an exotic, but for some reason I like the extravagance of the SLR. Sometimes it looks a bit too much for my tastes, with all the fancy doo-dads on the exterior and interior. But in some colours (like the Pagani Zonda or Spyker cars) it looks perfect. The new 722 edition is my favourite, with the genmetal rims and carbon fibre splitter up front. I loved it when I saw it, so I did a vector version.
All the fancy "filler" on the outside made this one take a long time - so many detailled scoops and vents. At least the rims weren't too bad, but it still took about 30 hours I think. My second moving car - the background is stole from the SVX I finished last.
Again, no gradient meshes. But there are a few blend effects, as well as multiple overlaid gradients with transparency effects applied.
